How to Flatter Your Figure in a Swimsuit

  • Try some mixing and matching: lots of stores do separates these days, so make sure you choose the style that fits your shape.

  • If you have pale skin or tend to burn easily, stay away from pinks and reds. You’ll just look like a lobster. Really!

  • If you have a small bust: choose triangle tops as they will give you a good cleavage.

  • Bottoms with rings at the side really do make your legs seems longer.

  • If you happen to be flat chest then opt for tops with stripes or prints and keep the bottom part plain.

  • If you have big hips, go for side-tie bottoms and keep them on the hips and low as that looks much better than trying to pull them all the way up.

  • Don’t get discouraged by the lighting in dressing rooms. Usually the spotlights above your head are not flattering to any figure.

  • Try to get a fake tan before you buy your suit as that will help you choose the bikini that best suits your skin tone.
